Breezes was constructed in 1998 by a Swedish family who manage the business from Nairobi. The staff are well trained, attentive and perform their duties with a smile. The hotel is similar to the type of resort seen in Mauritius and Seychelles, but with some nice authentic Zanzibarian touches in the decor.
Standard rooms overlook beautiful gardens , whilst the superior rooms and suites have sea views. As part of a recent refurbishment all rooms were upgraded with electronic safes, new furnishings and bathrooms. The main building houses bars, restaurants and the shopping arcade. In front is a large swimming pool. Facilities include scuba diving, watersports centre, tennis courts and gym.
We will arrange a transfers to and from the resort which is about a 90min drive from Stone Town through the plantations and villages. On the way you might want to stop at Jozani Forest to see the rare colobus monkeys and to visit the reptile zoo at Zala Park.
