Flame Tree Cottages belongs to Seif and Elizabeth Miskry. They have 10 delightful cottages in the village of Nungwi close to the beach and set in well-established gardens....all with air conditioning. If you are looking for a small friendly place to stay with a nice stretch of beach and within walking distance of bars and restaurants Flame Tree Cottages is for you. Highly recommended.

Seif and Elizabeth Miskry have created a wonderful little lodge with 10 cottages close to the beach in the village of Nungwi in the north of Zanzibar. The cottages represent superb value for money and nowhere else have we found accommodation of this standard that is air-conditioned. They always go the extra yard to look after their guests.

DINING
|
|
Rooms are normally taken on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Self catering is possible as most cottages have a well-fitted kitchenette (this is optional and subject to a surcharge of US$10 per day). Snacks can either be served on your own veranda, or in the sunbathing area and are available daily. Individually prepared meals can be ordered in the morning and can be served on a table up near the sea with candles and lanterns for a romantic touch and are very reasonably priced.
When you awake you will find the table laid for breakfast on your patio. Overlooking the beautiful gardens....what better way to start the day ?

ACTIVITIES

There are a selection of activities that can be arranged including snorkelling to Mnemba Island, reef-fishing, big game fishing and sunset dhow cruise. Just ask Elizabeth for details.
